Hey any thoughts on this pc build I'm planning on getting? Any improvements or suggestions would be appreciated.

That build is actually not that great....

The BBQ: i7-4770 / 212x / Tri-X R9 290x 1075/1400 / MSI H87-G43 GAMING / EVGA G2 850W / Corsair Spec 03 / Samsung 840 EVO 250gb SSD / Toshiba 2TB HDD / 8gb Kingston DDR3 1600mhz

Whats the build intended for? gaming? video editing?

 

only thing i would change if it was for gaming would be get an i5 and only 8gb of ram and also consider getting a GTX 970

yea gaming mostly, nothing over $1500 would be preferrable

Dat expensive power supply too..

I personally go for golds thats just my opinion on power supply i know there are way more options
