I recently finished my first gaming pc. The only thing I need left for it is a CPU cooler. (currently using a stock crap fan very loud) I want to get liquid cooling since, well they work very well. I am a bit paranoid though. What are the chances of leaking? I have AMD FX-6350 6core 3.9hrz. I also am using the NZXT Phantom White Full Tower Case. What would be a good cpu cooler? I was looking into some Corsair coolers.. I am willing to spend around 80$ or so. I'd appreciate any help. Thanks!

Unless you lined your case with spikes inside, your good. Closed loops almost never leak.

There are very few (heard of) cases of peoples water cooling leaking, you carnt really go wrong. Its like Lego but wIth water and tubes. If your not feeling confident enough just watch a lot of YouTube videos and tutorials, then you should be good to go :)

I think in the history of AIO's, one or two have leaked, and corsair paid to fix the entire PC.

running an H100. performance is great, quietest part in my system second to the solid state devices. no leaks. AIO coolers are pretty good about that.

if you are super paranoid or want to save some money, there are always good options for air coolers that will get performance that is almost as good but may be a bit louder at full load.

AIO is in my opinion reliable within reason, but it does cost more than air coolers..

I totally get where you're coming from, I was scared when I first bought my H100i. I love this thing though! Its so quiet and keeps my 8350 very cool :)
