adding another 280x is a problem, 970 chipset have a pcie speed for 16x and 4x so if you were to add another 280x for Xfire then the performance wouldn't be great as you expected so if you want to Xfire then getting a 990fx chipset board will be better

I think you should be fine. Though I'm not an expert on bottlenecks.

i wS doing this as  budget build and hoping to uograde in the future. but it seems like ill have to upgrade alot!

You won't need a bigger PSU to Crossfire, that'll max out at MAYBE 500 Watts under OC'd load everything.

 

I always reference that when people say "UR PSU WON'T HAVE ENUFF WATTS!"

Otherwise, pretty good build.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.

You won't need a bigger PSU to Crossfire, that'll max out at MAYBE 500 Watts under OC'd load everything.

Otherwise, pretty good build.

better being safe than sorry if you went with a larger psu with more watts
