whenever I navigate to a new page in chrome I get this file to save...how do I stop this, preferably without deleting all my saved passwords

use malwarebytes to scan for viruses and see if you dont have any odd extensions installed

Must be a bug, you could try phoning up the Google helpline or emailing a bug report

 

Also, un-install all dodgy addons

I dont have ant addons....

Does this happen in Firefox or internet explorer?

after closer inspection this only happens when I visit Chegg.com using chrome.

I have never heard of the site; is it trusted? - It could be trying to download something dodgy

lol its legit. It has textbooks for rent (using several of them this semester) as well as online solution guides and lots of Ebooks. its a college students best friend!
