there will be minimul performance loss. also this same question is asked like 5 times a day

i will upgrade my older gtx 570 with the gtx 970(i will propably buy it next year) and know will it be worth with if i still have a motherboard that has pci express 2.0 and if you know how much performance will it be lost

i will also upgrade my motherboard later
