Know this will probably sound stupid but,

if i have on the front side of my computer case usb 2.0  will it also work if i removed them and put usb 3.0 in them

or do you need a different case for that option

Short answer, no. You just can't do it that way.

like do you mean with your case you get 2.0 but you have a motherboard that supports 3.0 and you want to link to motherboard to the 2.0?

You want to remove the USB 2.0 connectors and replace them with 3.0's?

Why not better buy an USB 3.0 bracket for your case?

hmm either way kinda of no sadly 3.0 on motherboard or case only compatible with 3.0
