Hello everyone,

So I made the mistake of letting my brother use my new PC for an after noon when I was at robotics club and he managed to install a virus that I have been unable to remove. It is the GoSave virus. If anyone has had this virus before or knows how to get rid of it, please help me! Basically what it does is adds a browser extension whenever I reopen chrome. I can remove the extension and for that session I am OK. I have seen that I have to change some things in regedit but the files that were referenced in the solutions I found, I was unable to find in my regedit.

Thanks so much in advance!

Please don't rinse your memory

I use Adwcleaner. I think it's just adware. It can do really deep scans.
