Laptop For School?

Ok, so I am currently using a Dell with a pretty slow i3 and 2gb of ram.

I'm still in high school but I am currently taking online classes instead of the traditional School. And to do my school work I need a moderately fast computer...well mine isn't.

Dont get me wrong i love it for web browsing on places like linustechtips.com, and 4chan, but when it comes to HD video playback it gets sluggish. On the plus side it does have a touch screen which is pretty responsive but the screen just gets so damn dirty. It has a glossy finish and attracts fingerprints, dust, ect.  But what i'm looking for is a laptop, that has a Good-great build quality (Moving around a lot), with a fast enough processor to do stuff like video editing, photo editing, and live classrooms without a jitter. Also a good sized hard drive (i do have many classes). I have a job, but i'm not a millionaire, i would like it to be less than $1000. Also i would like it not to have a touch screen (I don't really use mine all that often) And a non-glossy screen. I'm open to any and all suggestions. Thanks! :)

My PC Specs.

Core i3 1.8 GHZ

2gb DDR3

500gb HDD

Change Out your 2GB ram  to 8GB And add A 240 or bigger  SSD and your PC will be fine

The issue is that there is no graphics card....

Ram is non replaceable and only has 2 slots. 0 open, also cant add a hard drive, but i use an external 1tb.

I do not know of a laptop that you cant replace the Ram and HDD in. What is the model ?

My mistake i looked into it and i can replace the ram, But i 'can't' due to my warranty, i can not open my laptop, or change anything inside of it for the next 4 years.
