Hi, ive got someone who wants me to build them an everyday pc (they wont be using it for gaming) and i managed to come up with a few options, anyone know which would be the best, or could help optimize it?  I also want it to last a while (meaning it wont be slow for every day stuff for a while). In addition they would be using it for some sound editing as well.

(in order of cost)

Builds:

1.) super simple amd build http://pcpartpicker.com/user/sailtacks/saved/HNsV3C ($300)

2.) similar above but nicer case and different mobo http://pcpartpicker.com/user/sailtacks/saved/JbyH99 ($338)

3.) sort of an upgrade to the other 2 http://pcpartpicker.com/user/sailtacks/saved/2m26Mp  ($394)

4.) uses an intel instead of amd http://pcpartpicker.com/user/sailtacks/saved/4nXV3C ($552)

This is my first time building at this price point so any help/advice is hugely appriciated.

(also any recommendations are welcome, and please tell me about the speeds they would run at (in your opinion/in as great detail as possible) because thats what really has me nervous)

in your original post you said "meaning it won't be slow for everyday stuff for a while", since you said you don't want it to be slow, i'd added a ssd to increase loading times for programs and other things, although you could just ditch the ssd and save up for one later in the future

i agree with what you're saying, yeah i understand why you would include it (its not too over budget so ill see)  out of curiosity, how well did i do in finding the parts that i first listed?

if you went with the 3rd build, you would have not video because there's no igpu in that cpu, you would have to get a discrete graphics card

out of those build that you made, i would choose the intel one

out of curiosity, i have to build a gaming computer that could eventually get a psu upgrade second gpu and have a water cooling loop (as well as look cool) what i have is really near for their current budget (the upgrade comes later) but what do you think? : http://pcpartpicker.com/user/sailtacks/saved/LWBzK8
