There should be a number key below the shift key

Any way to get the number row on iOS 8 SwiftKey or have it so if you have so you hold down the top row

under your settings go to layout and there should be a check box for a number row to be on top.

Different on iOS I guess, because on Android you can add a number row. 

Yup, had it like that on my phone.
