Pc build help.

Can you guys help me build a pc. ill be using it mostly for AutoCAD and gaming. And i cant decide on either Intel or AMD. can you also include a good cpu cooler and good case for it.

can it be in the $1000 mark. maybe even lower. thanks. 

and also, is there any downside on using our LG HDTV as my pc monitor (via HDMI)?

i forgot to mention that i need a case that has good cooling because the temperature here is above 32degrees.

Yeah I know what you mean. Plugged my desktop to my 50" plasma and my god did it lag and the colour was really bad.

I use a 32" LG LE5500...works perfectly for me

 

Specs that I can find: IPS panel, 2.4ms response time. I guess it really comes down to the screen that you're actually using...

Thank you everyone. i plugged my laptop to our TV and theres no lag. maybe its because the game im playing is not resource demanding.

again thanks everyone. i might mix up your recommendations depending on the availability of the parts here.
