This is my 3rd build ever, so I still have some stuf to iron out (sleeving, cable manegement, etc) So I hope ya'll stay with me as I try and fix the many problems I percieve I'll have with this "budget" build. Also, I personally don't pay attention to projects without photos, so I decided to not leave you guys hangin'. Also, I'm using the Asus z-97 pro motherboard that no google search could find build logs with, so I guess it's kinda "a first"Motherboard: Asus Z-97 ProCpu: Intel Core I5 4670kGpu: (My old) Gtx 560ti ... MDPC-X is out Just as I started my build, so an alternative: Heard paracord sleeving works well... IDK though (see below) Not completely hollow, plus it frays worse than a stormtrooper's aim Color Scheme: Looking to do a IIIIIIIIIII Style of cable sleeving. Asymmetry meets my eye particularly well. Pictures don't represent the colors right... They look WAYY WORSE in real life. I guess I'll have to do with what I got. Posted September 20, 2014 i am especially looking forward to the sleeving job (a shame that nils had to close the shop for now; wanted to order something too). Posted September 20, 2014 Author Definetly; I was going to use a 750d, but the guy I'm building this for wanted to keep the cost down. still curious to see how my old white case will look though.
