Hey tehies!

I'm planning out my runs on a NZXT Phantom 820, and could really do with some help.

My predicimnet:

My res will be in an optical bay

Not sure where my pump should go

my triple rad will cause problems with run length

Here are 2 ideas that I have. I cold really do with some help with this, feel free to edit the empty image below!

Both options look fine. Whatever you can do to have shorter runs is best so having the pump by the res would be a better option out of the two.

Just make sure you put something under the pump to cut down on vibration.

The bottom one has a long from from the drive bay to the pump, It will look better without it.

Get a pump res combo to save on space and make the system look neater.

Do you recomend this? Cos my system is already extreemly expensive, and I'm going full XSPC cooling, my only choices are:

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/productlist.php?groupid=962&catid=2133&sortby=nameAsc&subid=1845&mfrid=427

My current choice adds up to: £91.96

XSPC D5 Vario with Front Cover (1/2” barbs)

XSPC Single 5.25” Bay Reservoir - Multi Fascia

That adds over £100 to my budget! Damn :(

Trying my best to keep it under £3000

Oh wait, that res is made for two D5s; that's why.

That is the res only. You still need to buy the pump for it.

  • Hose cutter is a waste of money, just use a scalpel.

I don't see your GPU blocks for that SLI fitting but I assume they are XSPC so they will fit.

I'll get rid of the hose cutter

I'm running 2 GTX 770's, so the blocks don't exist yet

Cross-flow rads have worse performance if I remember correctly.
