Looking for new speakers

So one of my current speakers just died so I'm looking to replace them. I would like to spend between $50 to $100 US and I only need a 2.0 system but I would like a 2.1 system if possible. I'm not interested in surround as I don't have the room for it. Don't have any real brand preference. Anyone have any good recommendations?

I have M-audio AV 40 and they are pretty good i can say but they have 128€ ~165$

 

I guess 100$ speakers will be awfull... and it's worth to spend a bit more!

I would advice you to go for Micca MB42X+topping tp 20,it may go beyond your budget but you will get a similar sound of speakers double the price with this setup.Logitech z623 for 2.1,not that i would buy a 2.1
