You mean MSI/ASUS MiniITX GTX 670 / GTX 760?

They are quite good for their size but you should also look at new Sapphire R9 285 MiniITX GPU which is prety much the same price as GTX 760 but it has more performance in every single way. Both MSI/ASUS 760 perform very simmilary.

Sapphire R9 285 ITX - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814202128&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-_-na-_-na-_-na&cm_sp=&AID=10446076&PID=3938566&SID=

MSI GTX 760 ITX -http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127772&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-_-na-_-na-_-na&cm_sp=&AID=10446076&PID=3938566&SID=

If you can afford R9 285 then there is no reason not to pick it up if you plan on getting ITX GPU.

R9 285 -> has more performance in every single way tahn 760.

MSI 760 ITX / ASUS 760 ITX -> they perform very simmilary (It really comes down which cooler is better in this case)

I may chose very bad word order in that sentence however ;) English is not my language so I wouldnt know if I said it right or not.

Aaaaaaaah, the order in which you said it made it seem like you were referring to the 760 vs 285 :P.

i wouldn;t say so... Thanks to you i found benchmarks about 285 and 760... At some games 760 rekt 285 but to others 285 rekt 760... The bigger difference was at temps and power consumption, were 760 was cooler but 285 needed less power!

Thanks a lot for your help now i have to do some maths to find out which card will be better for me

P.S. I hate Shapphire as manufacturer but i may buy their product this time!

No problem.

I was saying that 285 beats 760 based on JayzTwoCents review where he puts both cards overclocked against each other and 285 beats it quite a lot after OC.

is R9 285 (tonga) using brand new architecture or just R9 280 (tahiti) with slightly higher clock and lower memory bandwidth?

Sapphire makes the PCBs for AMD... So if you have ever purchased an AMD card that is default PCB... you purchased a Sapphire card.

You mean refference AMD card? I have an Asus Radeon HD 3870, don't tell me that;s Shapphire's PCB???

A friend gave me his Radeon HD 3870 and when i test it, it was 94oC IDLE!!! And my cousin's graphics card also burned (literally, he saw a light when he tried to turn on his pc and it wasn;t leds, it was fire)!

That's the reason i don't like Shapphire...

Can you send me a link plz?

Sorry I can't I am on my phone right now with very limited data plan so I have data saving enabled on phone and it makes YouTube page basically non functional for me.

Just type in JayzTwoCents and look at his recent videos.

Reference cards are all manufactured by Sapphire. Poor luck you have there... I had two Sapphire Radeon HD 4870 is crossfire for two years... no issues. They are still being used in two different friends rigs for HTPC systems. My last video card was a Sapphire Radeon HD 7850 2GB Dual X card. Little brother is now using that in his rig.

Nearly every card in the world is manufactured by Sapphire. Doesnt matter who puts their name on the outside of the card. If it is on a reference design, chances are that it was manufactured by Sapphire.

really? i just know that  :o . mine is sapphire 7870 dual x oc, but still rev 1 (custom shorter pcb with cyan color cover and 2x6 pins still on the side) before they release new one with reference amd pcb design

If I remember correctly tek syndicate has video coming out soon comparing the MSI ITX 760 and the new 285 ITX.

MSI's radamax heat sink is supposed to reduce noise by 30% and make the card cooler than the normally long cards by 30% (so they claim). If I remember the asus card is *way* More expensive than MSI, On top of that I personally prefer MSI over asus.

I've been digging around for information for awhile and I believe I will be purchasing the MSI 270x ITX :D
