H100i fan explosion

Every time I power on my PC it sounds like my radiator fans are scrambling the fighters.

Any way to keep them quiet?

Is this a motherboard thing possibly? Or is this corsair link?  The fans are connected to the fan splitter on the pump unit of my h100i.  I'm using the stock h100i fans, which are acceptably quiet except for their startup debauchery.

thanks in advance.

to clarify: its only explosively loud for about 10-15 seconds on startup, which is annoying.  They're reasonably quiet at all other times.  I'm a snob about my noise levels.

awe I thought this was something exciting...

go into the bio and set the fans to quiet preset. It will always sound like that till the bio kicks on.

I don't know if there is a way to stop it but it shouldn't be that annoying. They'll run at close to full speed for like 3 seconds and then go quiet. Are your fans screwed in tight all the way? No vibrations?

will this affect the settings put in place by link?

Yeah its totally fine afterwards, I just figured if i have the opportunity to rid myself of the slight nuisance, why wouldnt it?

Run the fans on fan speed reduces or 7V adapters.

"Have you tried turning it off and on again?"

Yes. The BIOS has for example "Quiet", so the fans spin slower, and Corsair LINK will only control what is left.

I have no idea but you can't stop the fans from going 100% right when you turn the computer on... it only lasts like 3 seconds anyways.

if you mean they just get loud at startup then go back to normal I wouldn't worry much about it.

its only at startup, if this was the case the noise would be consistent.

I tried the quiet mode and it still happens, it probably just  goes full speed until the bios sets the fanspeeds.

I might just take @Stefano 's advice and get a 7v adapter to force them to be quieter.
