Video lag while mining?

It's most likely your PC under stress.

 Belongs in the Boinc/folding/Bitcoin section. But does Bitcoin run low priority? That might the issue. However, I remember running folding@home only on my second card, and videos did lag(which is weird).

Mining automatically stresses your card to its max, so the display lags whilst it's mining. My 7870 does the same when I mine on it at full stress. Try to lower the intensity of your mining (I don't know if this is an option on bitcoin mining, but it is on litecoin) and the display will be fine.
