gaming build for a friend

1. Budget & Location

800€ - 900€ location Germany (pheripherals and the monitor are not included in the budget)

 

2. Aim

web browsing and gaming (f.e. Assassins Creed, Battlefield 3,4)

 

3. Monitors

One 24 inch 1080p monitor (is already selected)

 

4. Peripherals

A wireless network adapter is needed. I am probably able to obtain Win7 64bit for free.

 

5. Why is my friend upgrading?

Broken Laptop display

 

6.furthermore

No ocing of the cpu is planned, it is therefor planned to use the boxed cooler

actually looks great if he doesn't want to over clock like you said but id grab a 212 evo just because the stock coolers utter shit with a fan on it

if u r not overclocking then the stock one is absolutely fine.

Though it is little loud.

like i said its fine if hes not going to over clock but there's no reason not to get a cheap after market like the 212 evo because the stock cooler shit

It performs well if u dont overclock.

Its not bad.

Not ment for overclocking.

But works well if not overclocking.

Looks ok to me,  if I were you I'd get at least 250GB SSD. 128 is just not enough. Belive me I have been there and ran out very fast. That is if you put all games and programs on your SSD of course. If you regularly uninstall what you dont currently need you can get by.

Thats why I also asked why Z97 board if he is not OCing. (But I was blind when I was checking it so nevermind :D).
