Nope

4GB x2 (4GB each card)

Another Q for YOU, with an A. :) Would it even use 4GB of Vram?> hardly ever unless Skyrim Modding, or a shoddy console port forces it, or your using 4K with 8xAA or something...

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz

Does it have 8gb of vram?

Yes.

Can a game use all 8gb of vram?

No, only 4gb (both gpus need a copy of the data they're working on)

Are 4gb enough for even 4k atm?

Yes

;)

The only reason why I'm looking for an upgrade is solely for modded Skyrim.  I thought the 3GB on my 7950 Crossfire setup was enough but apparently not lol.  Just a few mods in and I'm going over 4GB VRAM causing the game to stutter like a mad man.
