U2414H + Soundbar

Danilow
Go to solution Solved by Tacitus,

I've plugged external speakers into my u2414h and they output sound carried from my ps4 via HDMI, so yes, it works.

Hey everyone,

I want to buy 3 U2414H for gaming, but also to connect it to my cable box over HDMI and watch TV.

I thought to buy Dell's Soundbar AC511

The question is if will the monitor accept audio through the HDMI port and output it through the sound bar?

This is my cable box model:

Someone tried that?

Thanks!

Just don't buy their soundbar. They're not good. At all.

But will it work?

I don't need a really good speakers for TV, the sound bar looks as an aesthetic solution and that's the reason I thinks about that.

I want a clean desk as much as it possible..

For PC I have Logitech X-530

When you get those monitors could you tell me what you think of them because I have been interested in them also.
