My friend needs a new Gaming PC at a budget of SGD $1100.00, so we did a little planning and drew up a few plans and it came down to these two.

Please help decide:

AMD Build

Case : Cooler Master N200 - (windowed with Blue Fans) - SGD $65.00

APU : AMD Quad-Core A10-Series APU A10-5800K with Radeon HD 7660D - SGD $187.00

MoBo : Asrock FM2A88M Extreme4+ (FM2+)  - SGD $174.00

Ram : G.Skill RipjawsX 2133MHz 8GB(2x4GB) 9-11-9-28 + Fan - SGD $141.00

Storage : WD Blue 1TB SATA 6GB/s, 32MB Cache, 7200RPM = SGD $72.00

GPU : MSI R9-270 Gaming 2GB - SGD $282.00

PSU : Seasonic 620W S12-II / 5yrs - SGD $105.00

Total : SGD $1026.00 (the shopowner says he'll build it for us for SGD $1000.00)

Intel Build

Case :  Cooler Master N200 - (windowed with Blue Fans) - SGD $65.00

CPU : Intel i5 4590 - SGD $265.00

MoBo : Asrock Z87M-Extreme4 - SGD $197.00

Ram : Kingston HyperX Genesis - 8GB Kit* (2x4GB) - DDR3 1600MHz CL9 DIMM - SGD $122.00

Storage : WD Blue 1TB SATA 6GB/s, 32MB Cache, 7200RPM = SGD $72.00

GPU : MSI R9-270 Gaming 2GB - SGD $282.00

PSU : Seasonic 620W S12-II / 5yrs - SGD $105.00

Total : SGD $1108.00 (The shopowner will do it for SGD $1100.00)

The Intel build, the AMD build is horribly unbalanced, no offence.

EDIT: I just realized you live in Singapore, sorry for being rude in my OP. But I would still go with the Intel build.

Intel Core i7-5820K (4.4 GHz) | Gigabyte GTX 970 G1 Gaming | Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB  | 2x 360mm Custom Loop (Noctua iPPC) | ASRock X99 Extreme6 | Samsung 840 EVO 250GB | Fractal Design Define S | Corsair HX750 | Windows 10 | Corsair M65 RGB PRO | Corsair K70 RGB LUX (CherryMX Brown) | Beyerdynamic Custom One Pro & Creative Sound Blaster Z | Nexus 6P (32GB Aluminium) | Check out my setup: Project Kalte Here!

Intel build hands down...

Go AMD only if you're planning a crossfireX with 1/2 R7 250s...
