help with choosing a new monitor

Hi all I am currently upgrading my system and am looking for a 2.5k monitor (1440p) 27 inch. picture quality and great colours are important to me as I am a gamer. will be used for my university studies.

Budget up to £500 (England)

Asus PB278Q is my personal favorite  great colors great manufacturing quality. For any other info watch Linus's video about it.

What about the BenQ GW2765HT. It can be had for about $100 cheaper than the ASUS PB278Q and has a higher colour depth. The ASUS PB278Q, though, is a very popular display so I say your best bet would be to go with that.

I am possibly planning to get two of the BenQ GW2765HT for my planned build. I've heard decent things about them. :)

After reading up more on panel types I you are right geekazoid. I am swaying more to the pls panel.

Any comments on the samsung S27A850D they are a similar price to the PB278Q in England but unsure about anything other than that. I have seen linus's video on both but can't seem to split the two.
