Verizon contradicting itself?

so im sure most of you have heard this news by now : http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/211885-att-and-verizon-says-4mbps-is-enough-isp-wtf/ , of how ATT and verizon say 4 megs of internet is good internet....

 

but then verizon releases this advert that has been in all my youtube videos for a week

well? which one is it verizon... either shit on us or take care of us. but dont do both. get your shit together. i hate verizon so much and am glad i dropped them last year. and can somone link a forum thread where linus discusses why ATT is a sponsor... because i dont approve and would love an explanation as to why. 

Space Journal #1: So Apparently i  was dropped on the moon like i'm a mars rover, in a matter of hours i have found the transformers on the dark side of the moon. Turns out its not that dark since dem robots are filled with lights, i waved hi to the Russians on the space station, turns out all those stories about space finding humans instead of the other way around is true(soviet Russia joke). They threw me some Heineken beer and I've been sitting staring at the people of this forum and earth since.

They even started to throttle my LTE speeds because I still have the "grandfathered" unlimited plan. They call this balancing.

AT&T is a sponsor because they paid for everything. Without them there wouldnt be content, suck it up muffin. They need the money to live. 

that was the least thing i was worried about. but good to know now.

AT&T has shitty service and had the nerve to charge me for equipment they never sent. The sponsors Linus chooses reflects on the brand and choosing to side with a shady sponsor is enough to raise concern. Money doesn't mean a dime if integrity is lost. LMG has existed without AT&T as a sponsor just fine and there are a plethora of sponsors out there that have better track records. If Notch can so no to billions from a Facebook buy out, I would like it if the same man who complained about Canada's ISPs being shitty to say no to a shady ISP.

 

*Wait, ATT is already a sponsor? Feck. What's done is done, but for future events. AT&T shames me from being from my home town. The same company that can offer 1gbps being ok with 4mbps and general bad service. For me, AT&T being bad is almost personal.

if i recall correctly; linus said that they will drop a sponsor if we dont approve of it. and this is the first sponsor that the ltt community actually doesnt approve of. so thats why i brought it up.
