Birthday coming up , got a few options :

1. MSI 780 ti ( pro : OH YSS ; con : 900 series just around corner :(( and PSU might not cope  )

2. i5 4690k + MSI gaming 5 + korean 1440p monitor ( Pro : always wanted a 1440p monitor , Con : broadwell to come soon , and possible need of decreasing of game quality since the 760 may not be enough )

3. i7 4790k + ASUS formula z97 ( Pro : i7 e-peen , con : broadwell to come soon , cpu dont really increase fps )

4. Cash in a value less than above options (Pro: Get broadwell / 900 series at launch,)

5. Other options

4 because Broadwell will be a new architecture and the 900 series is gonna be awesome.

Oh , you again :D . Any idea on when they will come ? Also i'm not sure about this option , it's possible that my parents wont like it...

:D I'm always here to help.

I see what you're going to. I don't like to wait for something to come out unless you know it's right around the corner. I'll change my mind.

First of all, #3 is not an option. An i7 isn't going to be useful in your situation.

I also don't like the 780 Ti. It's just not worth the extra price compared to the GTX 780.

What I would do is this: 4690K + Z97 board (Asus Maximus VII Hero would be a good choice) and a GTX 780.

The monitor can come later. While you do that, try to sell the GTX 760 and the monitor. That'll give you enough for a 1440p monitor.

Sorry, kinda complicated.

A budget friendly option is to forget the i5 and mobo, just the GTX 780 and 1440p monitor. The 2nd gen i5 won't be bottlenecking the 780 anyway.

Thx for elaborate response . Was thinking about the i7 because i might get into editing ads for companies( although the i5 might do the job )  , just walking around town i see badly edited (MSPaint fonts even ) ads , and that might give me enough money to get a better gpu .

I'll wait for broadwell and get the "i7 5770k" and whatever Asus mobo they come out with because it'll come sooner than 900 series .I think these z97 mobos might not be worth it since they'll probably come out with new ones at launch.
