Hey guys,

I will probably upgrade my Logitech G430 headset soon because the audio isn't brilliant and in order to use the EQ, I have to use the severely shitty USB Sound Card.

I will have a budget of 70 GBP or more and the budget must include a modmic. I mostly listen to classic metal, thrash metal and melodic death metal. I also listen to novelty. Sound Isolation and Noise Cancelling are a must because I'd be using them on the go and I would also be using them for gaming. Furthermore I have a little sister whom I would not want to hear any of the tunes I listen to (Steel Panther, Slayer, Amon Amarth...).

Comfort would also be nice because when I use headphones they are for several hours at a time.

Thanks.

Edit the title to something like "Mods lock this thread" or just report the OP and request that the thread is deleted. Chances are a mod will lock one of the threads within a few mins though.

What's your budget after buying the modmic? I don't know what it would cost after shipping and such.

Well, my budget is 70 GBP or HIGHER and that includes modmic. Budget doesn't include shipping.

Check out the Superlux HD 681 EVO's. They're really good for the price. Some people complain that while the headphones sound great, the treble is a bit too high. If you need an equalizer for your PC, I can make you a guide on how to do it for free.

Here's the modmic that you could get as well. It's crystal clear in voice capture even though it clips onto the headphone cable.

The headphones don't ship to the UK, sadly.

The Superlux HD668Bs are a good option "http://www.amazon.co.uk/Superlux-HD668B-Headphones/dp/B003JOETX8/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1410470830&sr=8-1&keywords=Superlux"  Personally, they aren't too comfortable though.

You can get the HD660s "http://www.thomann.de/gb/superlux_hd660.htm" and buy some Beyer ear pads for $10 off ebay

EDIT: I've owned the HD660's for a while now, but Haven't listened to it extensively. The Velour pads improve comfort drastically.
