I guess pushing the hot air out is more effective than pulling cooler air in

Me: Yeah I just really can't get my H220 working again, I've tried everything that was suggested in the forum.

So hot air can be pushed out in the exhaust of the case rather than pulling hot air into the case where it just stays there.

push the air on the small heat-sinks is more effective that pulling, e.g. small chipset heat-sinks have air pushed, and large radiators can have air pulled, since most gpu have small heat-sinks it is better to push the air. all so to wet up the fans as a pull fan will take up more room, so less surface area for heat dissipation can be left. the bad form-factor of the gpu cooler has many disadvantages this is one of them.
