Ok first off we didn't purchase this board so I'm not too sure about the board,  we recueved this as a lucky draw top prize as Nickolas purchase above SGD$800.00 worth of computer parts from the shop(a fucking 3rd GTX 780 and some Ram)... rich bastard.

 

Here's what we know about the board from the shopkeeper.

 

It's a FX AM3/AM3+ mobo

 

other then that I know shit about the board, and since he isn't ito using a AMD board he gave it to me as a gift for helping him OC his i7 4790K

 

so is there anything I should know before i stard building off the board?

 

and can i used a A10 7850K? on it since i have a friend building with that APU?

You need an AM3+ CPU, 7850K is FM2+.

 

Currently the 'best' AM3+ CPU is the FX9590.

 

Personally I'd suggest selling the board either on it's own or as a bundle with something else rather than throw money at it.

7850k  definitely wont fit in that mobo.

You need an AM3+ CPU, 7850K is FM2+.
