780ti would be better a better choice than SLI 770's.

Why do people buy 4k monitors? get a 780ti Even with the new cards I will won't say "wait for a 900 series card" 256bit on maxwell can't pull magic compared to 384bit at 7ghz.

Get a 780ti.

I personally would suggest going with a 780TI, not only would it be the more "future proof" option (opportunity to expand in the future), but the additional VRAM will help. You will also see a greater benefit in the future when you watercooling.

I did not plan on buying a 4k monitor when i originally built my pc. They were giving away free 250gb samsung ssd with the purchase of the monitor seemed like a good deal.

Get two 980's if you want to have a decent chance at running 4k with reasonable frames.

Also, that PSU is total overkill.

I'd SLI but look at benchmarks

One day I will have my GTX 970. One day. PC specs are at my profile.

Not sure how to check what part works with what? Check out my compatibility guide!

You probably have 2GB of VRAM on your 770 which isn't going to be enough to run 4K even with SLI. The 780ti has 3GB VRAM but your best bet is to buy an AMD card with 4GB VRAM or wait for the 900 series with 4GB VRAM.

Linus uses two 780tis in this build but he does mention that more VRAM would have been preferable.
