Did anyone play these classics?

Hey Guys,

I'm 15 and I remember having my very first Dell, and playing games Like Heroes of Might and Magic IV and III, did anyone play that game? Or Warrior Kings?

I adore those games to this day! I'd really like to discuss those games with anyone here :) If you've played and loved them like I have.

Yeah.

Heroes of Might and Magic was one of my favorites :D

I used to play the 4th one with a friend of mine after we got bored of playing Diablo 2.

I played it quite a lot.

Ah,I also remembered how much time I put into Red Alert 2...I played it for months.

I played Heroes 3 with my brother in hot seat a lot back in the day. Absolutely fantastic game. We still once in a while when we have time play a game or 2. We are also fairly bad at it by not really knowing any proper build orders or anything.

Also played In The Wake of Gods community expansion. It allowed changing so many settings and rules. It gives such an amazing breath of fresh air to the game. An example would be changing how Tactics secondary skill worked. In vanilla it allowed you to move units around before combat and leveling it up allowed you to do it in a larger area. In the expansion you could change it to work as a straight out speed bonus for units and leveling it up gave more speed.

There are pages on top of pages of rules to change. At first it was quite overwhelming.

It also allowed you to use your hero as an actual unit on the ground.

I also played around with the level editor but never did any like fully finished and decent maps(I didn't and still don't have enough understanding of the game to make one). Mostly just did some changes to existing maps to have fun.

Heroes of Might & Magic 3 is one of the most best games I've ever played. Everything about it is perfect. The sounds, music, gameplay, artwork and graphics, everything. Apart from bullshit cheating AI, of course.

I started playing it again a while ago after I found the HD mod for it. I found this when playing.

My 6 year old brain did not compute back then. I'm fairly sure I've let tonnes of things like this just slide right past me.

Heyy, I Loved HOMM 3 but I will forever love HOMM 4, that was my favourite, listening to the soundtracks I'm hit with a tang of nostalgia, almost putting me in tears!
