The last few times I've played, about halfway through the match i start getting weird graphical glitches:

I'm not sure what the issue is. I've rebooted, reinstalled, updated drivers for my Graphics card, cleaned my case and vid card of dust- does anyone know what the issue is? Is my GPU overheating?

Some specs from dxdiag:

Have you reinstalled the game? It isnt clear if youre saying drivers or game in your post. If not do so because it looks like missing textures or broken shaders. CSGO isnt a hard game for your pc to handle so it shouldnt heat it up too bad, ive got a i5 & a r9 270 that runs it maxed 1080p so you should be good.

Looks like you've been messing about with your .vpk files to make transparent walls but made a giant cockup of it.

I suggest you re validate your CSGO files, or delete the CSGO folder, then redownload it completely OP.

It could be a lot of things, but I've seen those exact graphic glitches happen on cards that are failing. If it starts happening more frequently, and you've exhausted all other options (validating files, reinstalling, etc etc) then you might need to buy a new card.

Thanks for all the replies. No, my card is not overclocked. I have reinstalled the game, I have also updated video card drivers, sorry if that wasn't clear in the initial post.  I've also verified integrity of game cache. No messing with the .vpk files, I don't know enough about computers to try that, nor would I want to. Those pictures are actually quite old from when it first started happening, now it's gotten so bad that when I look a certain way (for example, last game, mid in dust2) my screen just goes grey until I look somewhere else. I've also had it happen that my whole screen flashes purple, or yellow, etc.

Thanks for all help, guys. Would re-applying thermal paste help? The video card is not that old.. (two years).

I don't think so. Did you buy the card used or new?

Nope. When i clicked it, my browser just opened the image itself, not his profile.

I'm not sure what the temperature is, how would I check that?

Generally the game starts off ok but around halftime it becomes unplayable due to this.

Although the video card is only 2 years old, the rig is around 4 years old.

Run CPU-Z or (better yet) Speccy. I would say you just got a bad silicone sample and it's starting to die. If your temps are high enough, it'll happen faster.

So I kept Speccy running during a few games, the temperatures are as follows.

Default before the games was:

CPU-43

GPU-27

The peak temperatures I observed were:

CPU-83

GPU-47

How do those look?  Both Motherboard and storage were around 30 and didn't seem to be effected by the games.
