Currently running with AMD FX 8320 + ( Fan Cooler ) Arctic Cooling Freezer Xtreme Rev.2 High Performance Quiest CPU Cooler ( Link http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=HS-038-AR&groupid=701&catid=2330&subcat=2338 )

why in the world would you "upgrade" to just a higher clocked chip that is otherwise exactly the same?

for that money i would rather sell your stuff and get an i7 with a z97 board... more features, faster.

$300? ... Hm can get it for 250$ ( 150£ )

What would you recommend for me instead of the AMD FX 9590?

Something from the intel side.

either a 4690k or a 4790k with a z97 motherboard. even at stock, the i7 is better than anything amd has

According to this with a Noctua U12S it hit 66C and started throttling.

So don't go for anything less than a high end 120MM heatsink or thick radiator.

If you are going to upgrade, you might as well upgrade to something much better rather than something that's just 'marginally better'.  I would suggest you go with the intel z97 platform, and get yourself an i5 or i7.

That way your system will draw significantly less power, and you won't need extreeme cooling just to keep the temperatures at a reasonable level.

Why would you not recommend this CPU at all? ( Im newbie )

Mostly what I do is Gaming,

its the same as the 8xxx series but higher clocked and overvolted. basically useless.

the intel side on the other hand has a much lower TDP, and much better single core performance (which is what matters in gaming)

I would not recommend it because for gaming, you would not see much difference, and the cpu is ridiculus with its insane power consuption, heat output and price.

If you want big upgrade, go ahead and get 4690k

if you want to stay on same platform and save ALOT of money and get like 20% performance increase in games, disable ALU cluster on each 8320 module.

if you can ofcourse. What is your mobo?

Mostly what I do is Gaming,

because its the same cpu that you have now with overclock.

you may need to change the motherboard too, you cant just put it on any mobo.

if you want to upgrade get i5

My Current spec in use

 AMD FX 8320 ( CPU )

 AMD Gigabyte r9 270 OC  ( GPU )

 MSI 990FXA-GD65 ( MotherBoard )

 Crucial 4gb DDR3 1600MHz ( 4+4+4+4 ) 16gb ( Ram )

Seagate 1TB SSHD ( 8gb SSD ) ( Memory )

Crucial 240gb SSD  ( Memory )

( Tower Case - Zalman Z11 Plus )

Would you Upgrade anything? Keep in Mind I prefer AMD mostly because of the price price.

And also keep in mind im a Newbie and I feel like my PC is not "Strong" enough thats why I tried to ask about the FX 9590 because Ive seen it on many Web Sites ( UK- Ebuyer , Overclockers ) as the Top CPU from AMD

In normal desktop operations i could not come up with a single reason to go 9xxx

I thought of one...

You live somewhere very cold and need some additional heat in your room.

okay maybe then, but in that case, why not just put 1,4 volts though another cpu, even the 8320 would work with that, and have the same results

Some people are afraid of overclocking and would rather get a processor that shoves 1.4v through your processor out of the box!

Enter the FX9.  It is in department stores right next to washers, dryers, and refrigerators.  It doubles as a space heater!  With that kind of value, who wouldn't buy an FX9??? (sarcasm)
