Can you help me choose a good CPU Cooler?

I'm considering:

1. Kraken X40/41

2. Corsair h80i

3. Cooler Master 212 Evo

or any 120/140mm rad for water cooling or any good air cooling.

- I'm planning to put the rad on the rear exhaust of the NZXT H440 case.

- I'm planning to overclock the CPU up to 4.4 or 4.5, will this do?

- Triple-Monitor setup.

And thoughts about the components? Suggestions are welcome.

Edit: Added triple monitor setup.

Red/black case, red/black board, blue ram....

Get the X41 for a cooler, it does the best of what you listed. We can't tell you your CPU will even clock to 4.5, it could be forever stuck at 4.4.

What's the purpose of the build? Because I see a lot of wasted money for some uses.

Either way, I would change a few things:

- No need to get 850 Pro. The 840 EVO is more that strong enough and cheaper.

- Get Barracuda 2TB, not a lot more expensive but tons more storage.

- Get the EVGA G2 750W instead. It's cheaper and the platinum rating is really overkill and just hurting your wallet.

- Unless you really need CUDA or have quite high ambients I would get the R9 290X instead.

As for cooling the only high performance I can recommend in this restrictions (no 240mm or bigger rad) is the Noctua NH-D15. It's more reliable, no change of leaking and it's quieter. It's very bulky though. Also the G2 750 and 850W have a 9.8 and 9.9. They are fantastic.

Sorry bout the blue RAM, I'm planning to get a red one actually, just too lazy to look for a red on in pcpartpicker. Just mind the numbers, 2x8GB Ram.

I'll be doing some Audio Editing and a bit of Video but not frequently. I also use VMWare a lot for multiple virtual desktops and so on. Planning to get a triple-monitor.

You can change a few things and save some money.

Go with X41, it's good for overclocking that 4790K. Both for the mild OC you're going for a U14S would be fine.

250GB 840 EVO SSD

EVGA 750W/850W G2

You can also go with G.Skill Trident X and remove the tall heatsinks. Edit: the standard heatsinks are red.

Bert & Ernie before squirting spermie.

- Is the 840 EVO more reliable? I need consistent speeds.

- I don't store big datas often.

- This PC will be running 24 hours for at most 4 days and as far as my googling skills go, the platinum has a better power efficiency.

- I live in a hot country that's why I didn't consider the AMD cards. Thanks for pointing that out.

My PSU choices where I live is really limited. In the 600w-800w range, the PSUs here are mostly silver and bronze certified. No gold at all. So I went for platinum instead.

Changed my RAM and SSD, thanks for the links.
