Hi!

I am wanting to buy a new mouse and key board for gaming. I am wanting a back-lit (white or blue) , ten keyless, and maybe a detachable keyboard for as close to $50 us. And for a mouse, I would prefer one under $20us. Any suggestions?

Thanks

CM Storm Devastator

That is the king of low budget kits, most people here will jump on you to spend a lot more. I say get whatever fit your budget and you like. The truth is, keyboard and mouse are low priority compared to a GPU or CPU, so you can get whichever you like.

●CPU: i7-4790K w/H100i ●Mobo: MSI Z97 MPower ●RAM: Corsair 16GB Dominator ●GPU: EVGA ACX SC 780 3GB(X2) ●SSD: 850 Pro 256GB ●Case: 450D ●PSU: AX 860i ●Monitor: Asus PB278Q 1440p

Best bet would be a CM storm devastor around that price, I would recommend saving up more to get decent gaming peripherals. Most likey your gonna spend around 140 to 200 to get decent gaming peripherals that would include a mouse and keyboard in that price range. If you can't spend that much then the cm storm devastor would be your best bet, has a membrane keyboard with back lighting and includes a mouse.

razer uses some cheap quality switches that aren't good as cherry mx switches that are used on the Corsair keyboards, I would prefer the k65, the only downside is that it doesn't have a keypad but it's similar to the k70, I'm pretty sure the k65 is fully mechanical(like all keys are mechanical keys) but I may be wrong.

Thermaltake KNUCKER keyboards are membranes designed to feel like cherry mx reds. They do a really good job too, I quite like them :)

Otherwise monoprice has a really cheap legit cherry blue board for around $60 but has known to go on sale for $40 http://www.monoprice.com/Product?c_id=114&cp_id=11401&cs_id=1140102&p_id=9433&seq=1&format=2

As for mice, under $20, I've got no clue. I don't remember there being anything good at that price.

K65 is a solid board. You could also check how much KBT Pure, Poker or Race are if you don't mind even more compact design.

For a cheap mouse Perixx MX-1800 is pretty much the only good one. Go up to $30-40 range and you can find some good CM Storm mice like Spawn, Alcor and Recon.
