Going SLI or Upgrade

Hello All,

 

Im considering a GPU upgrade to SLI 780's but im not sure my 750W PSU can handle the the strain of overclocked GPUs and a CPU. I have 2 SSDs 1 HDD and a custom water cooling loop cooling a i5-3570k currently. I am aware of the issue with SLI and was wondering if I'd be better offer getting a 780Ti or just grabbing a second 780? I play a lot of modded games and I am thinking of grabbing a 1440p monitor soon as well so that is factoring in my decision. I'm just looking for friendly advice so please no "you don't need anymore".

You'd be much better off doing the sli, by far :) 750 watts should be fine, even if you lower the oc a bit 2 780s will blow a 780ti out of the water any day.

Upgrade to what though? There's nothing to upgrade to besides a duel GPU card

What is the psu? 
 

No need to overclock dual 780s for sure. Better OC 3570k to the max advised voltage and leave 780s stock because the main component with sli of high end gpus is very powerful cpu.

Were they (rumored(ly)) pushed off again? I thought recent rumors were all September - November.
