Computer Restarting when not intended.

Go to solution Solved by StareX,

I cleaned my PC, removed all possible dust and now it's not really doing anything with random startups.

Guess it was dust that did it.. :P

So, recently my PC has been starting to act really weird... shutting down, not powering up properly (thinking it was the cable) ... and etc. It's fine now, working but seriously, everytime I power it down, it comes back up. Like what? who told you to turn back on?

Nothing is being pushed on the connectors inside my PC or anything like that.. but what the hell is happening? I've been trying to look this out in the internet and didn't find any solutions...

One time i powered it off... completely. for 3 minutes, after the 3 minutes my PC decided to turn back on. Why is that happening?

Lol.. the PSU is fine.

Is it really?

You either have a case of a polteigest in the insides of your psu or the 24pin in your board or psu is fucked up.

Sometimes it starts up randomly, sometimes it don't like last night.. it stayed off the entire night and day.

And I can guarantee you this is not a PSU issue (Else this issue would really destroy it as it turns on by itself.. I'm not saying this out of my ass.. I study electronics engineering).

It has never happened before. btw I took off its filter awhile ago from the button because the filter got destroyed (BAD CHINESE DESIGN!!!) So yeah :/... maybe this is the issue? but I'm 100 percent sure from ALL my knowledge about PCs and I have a few (ahaha), this isn't my PSU.. because this PC can stay upto 6 days in a row without failing.
