Right Angle PCI-E Adapter

This may seem far fetched, but I was day dreaming about the possibility of using a right angle adapter to use for a gpu, that way one could actually see both the CPU's and GPU's sexy coolers head on through a traditional window in a traditional case. The possible caveats I can forsee are affected band width, forced use of third pci-e slot, possible cooling issues, case modding for vertical expansion slots and.....what else? Anyone ever daydream this too?

Above the gpu is the cpu heatsink. Good luck modding that out.

I always thought of possibly doing this on the Define R4 with it's vertical expansion slot by using a ribbon cable, but there aren't that many single slot cards I'd like to be showing off. lol

I know my X51 uses this for the GTX 660, so it stays mad slim
