Best Budget GPU for Editing Rig

What would be a good gpu for editing? I'm going with a 4790k but I'd like a bit more horse power for rendering in After Effects. It's not really intended for gaming, I just need something that's better than the integrated graphics. My budget is no more than $250.

Lol ok I think the best gpu for that price range would be the quadro K620, its pretty new so it might not be everywhere yet, i recommend you try and go for the level up from the k620 which is the k2000 as that is what ive used before and its pretty good, the quadro cards are very nice. Im not sure about firepro as ive not used them before.

For render only the geforce cards suffer, badly, this quadro 600 is two generations before the k620 but it kills the 670 which is more powerful then a 760

Yeah true, quadro cards didn't even come to mind because of the budget (I for some reason assumed they weren't any cheaper ones). Though I guess a gaming card would give him a bit of flexibility, assuming he's not just going to render 100% of the time forever with that PC.
