Long-time reader, first time stander-upper!

Hi there, i was/am in the market for a new phone. Long winded reasoning for my preferred phone choices aside, here's a list of what i am looking for!

- Long battery life (My current phone lasts about 3 weeks per charge, willing to give some lee-way here)

- Oled screen (I believe, you can drop blue/green/yellow for an overall red-hue toned screen which increases battery life, scold sensibly if not)

- Basic functions, i essentially want to text/call/store about 1,000 songs

- Something which doesn't have to be modded/tweeked to suit my OCD/minimalist preferred choice

Considering this will be my main away from desktop music device + phone i am willing to spend about $200-$300. Please note i live in Australia, which might not seem like a big deal, but i just tried ordering a $120 office chair and was expected to pay $320 in shipping.

Any help will be greatly appreciated! Will check back after i get some sleep.

P.S. Too early to buy into Phonebloks.

I am sorry, but no devices meet your needs. There is no phone that has that long of a charge. The only Android phone I know that has the longest charge is about 4-5 days MAX.

Sony Z2, large battery, really nice screen even in really dark or really bright place, expandable storage for tons of music and the UI is nice to use, or Z1 compact or Z2 compact...

I think Mr. Sony aka @connorpiper can confirm that the Z2 is a great phone :D

Yea. I have the Z1, it's perfect except that TN panel. The Z2 has an IPS display, so it's a great phone.

It's also very durable.

My Z1 will last me about 2 days with normal use, or 3-4 with very light use. (It has a 3000mAh battery)

I love that I can get on a plane with 80% battery and still have juice after for the rest of the day.

A 50$ phone is not a smart phone and doesn't have features such as wifi etc. If you are talking about a "dumb phone" then please say so.

Anyway, the Android phone I was talking about is http://www.gsmarena.com/lenovo_p780-5544.php
