[US] 7" $20 Tablet

Its not a great tablet...or even from a known brand..

But its a tablet nonetheless, and its $20. So, if someone needs a tablet, or just kinda wants a tablet on the cheap, this may be a good temporary option.

Lol,  800x480 looks TERRIBLE on a 4" screen, this one is 7"... Obviously you can't expect much from this tablet but I can only imagine what that screen looks like :P

I'd rather not :P

I bought a different version of this device for the same price from Micro Center, and I will tell you these things:

1. It's not that weak. It would do average usage (watching YouTube/Netflix, browsing social media, light gaming) well.

2. The screen is horrible. But it is not because of the resolution. That part is bearable, but the TN viewing angles are not.

3. If you can get past that, it's not bad.

good to know.

Reminds me of the joke "How's your azpen?", anyways it would probably make a great gift/stocking stuffer.

haha, ya...

Too bad its a MIR, if it was $20 flat I would've picked it up already.

I have one of these, the power plug was damaged after a month of use. Other than that it was pretty awesome, I installed a custom ROM on it and everything.

Stop tempting me to buy it....I don't want to dick around with a MIR; they're bad enough with known reputable companies....

I agree! Do not buy it!

Especially since you DO have to "look" at it to use it.

Tigerdirect is usually the one that handles MIR, they usually let you to believe that the companies are the ones that provide the MIR, but if you look at the shipping addresses on all of them they are the same. Bad thing is that tigerdirect is horrible with MIR, they take months (around 3-4) to complete one rebate. They will also try to  spam you with non-sense subscription systems.

I'd expect it to perform comparably with this:

http://www.cdrking.com/?mod=products&type=view&sid=18418&main=166

I laughed when I read it's battery information,

Charging time: 4 Hrs

Actual usage time: up to 3 hrs

It's not even saying that it has 3 hours of usage time

Looking at it closely, I recognized the thing... I have a rebranded model of this complete with modified firmware so it shows 2GB RAM when it actually has 512MB...

And yes... It sucks... But I can still use it to read my ebooks so it's enough...

I dropped it and it has a cracked digitizer now...
