Hey guys, would like some thoughts on a new build I'm thinking of doing. My budget is about $2000 AUD so it isn't too tight.

I am upgrading due to having my current pc for too long now and have been saving for some time.

Case: NZXT H440 Mid Tower Case - Red/Black

Motherboard: MSI Z97 Gaming 5 Intel LGA 1150 ATX Motherboard

CPU: Intel Core i5 4690K

RAM: G.SKILL RipjawsX 8GB (2x 4GB) DDR3 2133MHz

Graphic Card: MSI AMD Radeon R9 290

PSU: Thermaltake Toughpower GOLD 850W

SSD1: Samsung 850 Pro 128GB

SSD2: Samsung 850 Pro 128GB

HDD: Western Digital WD2003FZEX WD 2TB Black

So far I'm at about $1700, more than happy to go a bit higher if need be.

I will be using it mainly for gaming and possibly a bit of editing.

I will be using windows 8.1.

I have no need to buy new peripherals or new monitors.

Any ideas or changes are appreciated, thanks.

Did you include tax/shipping into your total build? Because on PCPartPicker I put together the same exact build as you and it's not $1,700. Also you can save a few bucks by ditching both of those Samsung SSD's in favor of a Crucial MX100 512GB which is cheaper than both of those SSD's combined.

I'm from AUS, I'm using www.mwave.com.au Comes to just over $1700.

Only reason I was going with the 2 SSD's is due to performance.
