Problem with my CPU?

I have i5-4690k at stock speed, raijintek aidos cpu cooler,z97 motherboard,asus gtx 780,evo 840 250gb.8gb corsair vengeance pro 2133mhz cl9,etc.
I id perfomance test 8.0,and everything seems great,(even 8gb of my ram has better score then 16 gb of G skill),but there is problem with CPU.

It seems to get worse score then i7-3770k

Info about my cpu from that test:

Here is more details about CPU test

I was thinking that overall it should be faster then 3770k at stock speed.
There was almost no programs ot anything that would cause cpu to work slower.

no, the 3770K is a superior CPU to the 4690K

Well, I'm unfamiliar with the test, but keep in mind that your CPU doesn't have hyperthreading, and is still a small bit worse overall in most tasks than a 3770k due to hyperthreading, and maybe some other differences within the architecture.

There is no i5 3770k. There is only i5 3570k or i7 3770k.

And i7 3770k (as seen in the benchmarks) will definitely beat your i5

A 3770k is an i7 not an i5

ahh good point i didnt noticed the OP called it the i5-3770K, he did not realised it was an i7 thus making it faster...

Sorry guys it is late here, and I automatically was thinking that it is I5 for some reasons. I know there is no i5-3770k,but I didnt saw it :D

thank you, everything seems ok then,I will just clock it to about 4.0ghz so I get even more speed.

I was thinking about i7-3770k,but for some reason I thought it is i5,even if there is no i5-3770k. It is 3am here so maybe that`s why

Do not fret, if you are gaming then your cpu is still superior to even the 3770k. If only slightly.

If only a 3rd party programmer made a software program for creating additional threads or virtual CPU's to enhance threading where its needed.

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz

Treat you cpu like it should be. Overclock it. It's devils canyon. You should not have trouble hitting 4.2Ghz on a stock cpu if you don't have...more exotic cooling.
