I have a setup with SLI'd gtx 660's which require 24amps on the 12v rail. I am currently looking at the EVGA SuperNOVA NEX 750 G power supply. It has 4 12v rails with 20amps running all 4. If I only use 2 of the rails, does that mean that they would both use 40amps?

If you haven't bought that psu then I wouldn't suggest it. Find something with a single 12v rail so you don't have to worry about that.

The NEX750G has four 20A +12v rails with a combined rating of 61A.

20A on the +12v rail is 240w. A 660 can draw up to 140w DC during Furmark. http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/MSI/GTX_660_Gaming/24.html

You may be able to run both of the 660s on one +12v rail, as the OCP trip point is set higher than 20A.

Anyways, two of the PEG connectors are from the +12v2 and the other two are from +12v4. Just have each of the 660s power on its own +12v.

If you want a PSU recommendation, it would be helpful to know your budget and locations as to where you are able to buy from.
