Why 8350? your graphics card is really underpowered. Go for an i3 with a 760 or something.

EDIT:

I hate PC part picker, but if i must use it, here is my recommendation:

And then of course, you can put your peripherals on top of that.

Oh yeah, to confuse you further, if you want an overclockable one here is one for the same price, but you sacrifice the SSD

pentium g3258 would probably be better than an i3 as you easily can overclock the hell out of it and its cheap.

But with a budget of £800, he doesn't want a Pentium I mean, that is minus fucking man points

They both are dual core CPUs, and the G3258 is quite new, compared to something such as the i3 4130 the Pentium overclocks much much better, costs less, and performs better in situations where the i3's hyper threading is not used, though even in some situations the Pentium still will surpass it.

Hi pugh,

On the pc parts list that you put I saw that your choice for HDD fell on WD Green. These hard drives are designed for secondary storage in most cases.

I would recommend you to chose WD Blue which is for general everyday usage. Drive specs. you can find here: http://wdc.com/en/products/products.aspx?id=770#Tab3

Hope you find this useful.
