Just wanted to say hello!, I just starting mining again on my home pc, and joined the Linus team, I don't know how much my rig will help, but hopefully some folding is better than no folding..is there anything I need to do to set up properly?

 

I just installed the program and entered the info, no special changes or anything

You likely won't get anything from mining casually with a "home computer". Anyways, welcome! :)

I assume you mean Folding in that first part and not mining, as there is no Linus mining team. :D

 

Welcome to the team, other then setting the team ID there is nothing else really that you have to do. Just fold away...

yeah my bad guys!, I meant folding lol. Good game 3am, good game...

it is a very common mistake to make, although i wish people would stop confusing mining and folding as one thing :P

 

welcome to the team! not much you need to do besides adding the right information, and possibly grabbing a passkey if you care about points, not needed to support the cause, but most people like to keep track of rankings and whatnot on the side.
