i was wanting to make a custom loop for my rebranded silverstone case.  i was thinking i could get a Cooler Master Eisberg Prestige with a Alphacool NexXxoS XT45 Full Copper Single 180mm Radiator and a Alphacool NexXxoS XT45 Full Copper Single 120mm Radiator.  im using a maingear case which is made for them by silverstone specifically.  if i built the system with tubing runs and quick disconnects so i could get the 180mm connected but fill it out side of case and work all the air out and finaly seal it again and use quick connects so i can keep it a relatively closed loop system.

do you all think this idea will work for me?  thanks in Advance, Alice

Really don't that's a good idea. Apart from the quick discos being stupidly expensive, once a water cooling setup is installed, generally not practical to install and remove it a lot. Once it's in, you really just gotta commit to it. When doing CPU and gpu blocks, res's, rads etc. that a lot to get damaged to remove and replace every now and then.

The idea is good, I thought of doing the same thing my first time round. It's just not practical, that's all.

so it is impractical  i wonder if a Noctua NH-U14S & NF-A15 PWM since i cant do a full custom loop.  and this case is limited to 120mm closed loop setup

A U14S is nice and quiet and has you covered for a mild overclock up to 4.5 on a 4690K for example.
