amp for a headset won't be that great since the cables are so short at the end. better off saving for headphones(kinda sucky since you prob just bought them)

every headset i've seen has a long cable that turns into two shorter cables. the two shorter cables won't fit from the back of the case where the mic need to be then the headphone output on the amp from his desk, you'll need an extra cable to make up for that

Mayflower Standard Objective2

For an $80 headset?

....  A simple Fiio e5 or syba DAC+Amp will be fine lol.  No reason to go out and spend more money on an amp then you spent on the headphones in the first place lol.

Extension cables are extremely cheap.

Cheapest and simplest would be extension cables. If worry that it would break because it's too thin, then get a 1/4" connector extension cable. Those got 2-3x thicker cable+shielding compared to 3,5mm extension cables. Just add a pair of 3,5mm to 1/4" adapters

Or, get a DAC with mic in, like the Syba mentioned above.

Found this one for 5.1 + mic in + cheaper:

Dunno how it'd sound though....

That one is meant for speakers, so either wont get loud enough on headphones, or wont sound too great.

Yeah, it doesn't say anything about headphone amp circuit/chip, so I guess you're right.

Still, a good, and cheap, alternative for those needing 5.1 outputs but got EMIs on their onboard....

Yes you can :)

Ever heard of 2L?

it's very rare to find 24/384 music. I know some is out there but there not alot. or any you can buy legaly

that's 24.352 then turned down to 192. i still don't buy "high res" audio as a thing. better masters=better music not higher sample rates=better music
