New driver keeps crashing (gtx 770 2gb ASUS)

Crazyroccobuilds

Hey all! I just installed a new driver (340.52) on my 770, and all my games are crashing! its saying that the driver is crashing and that it recovered, but it just keeps happening :/ I have tried to uninstall and re install a older version, but it just crashes altogether. If somebody could help me out that would be great.

Things i have done to try to fix.

-rolled back to a much older driver

-uninstalled driver (crashed computer)

-tried to use uninstall programs list to uninstall newest driver. (computer crashed)

Now, if anybody has the same graphics card, have you installed the newest version? and does that version work for you? Please respond guys.

As always thanks!

You might also want to tell us temperature reading during idle and load. This includes both CPU and GPU temps.

I had a problem like this with my old GTX 660. It turned out that my CPU was hitting 89C which caused programs to crash, it even gave me the driver kernel something error for the GeForce driver.

You can bark like a dog, but that won't make you a dog.

You can act like someone you're not, but that won't change who you are.

Finished Crysis without a discrete GPU,15 FPS average, and a lot of heart

How I plan my builds -

Spoiler

For me I start with the "There's no way I'm not gonna spend $1,000 on a system."

Followed by the "Wow I need to buy the OS for a $100!?"

Then "Let's start with the 'best budget GPU' and 'best budget CPU' that actually fits what I think is my budget."

Realizing my budget is a lot less, I work my way to "I think these new games will run on a cheap ass CPU."

Then end with "The new parts launching next year is probably gonna be better and faster for the same price so I'll just buy next year."
