So I've had my Samsung 840 EVO 250GB with pretty much only the OS and some recently used programs on it. It turns out I have the pagefile set to be on the SSD, and since SSDs have limited read / write cycles, I was worried about longevity. I also have a 1TB WD Black as my storage drive for all of my media and games. So should I set my pagefile to my HDD instead? I have 8GB of RAM, while having this one tab open on chrome and Steam running in the background, I only consume 1.4 GB of RAM, so I highly doubt I will EVER cap my RAM even while playing games. But I hear that Windows still uses the pagefile for certain things aswell. So my final question is, should I switch my pagefile over to my HDD? Thanks for any suggestions and help.
