USB Number Pad for Macros?

Is it possible to make a standalone usb numerical keypad act as a set of macro keys? I know Logitech and Razer make something like this, but they're like $70+.

It'd be very useful for things like drawing, joysticks, etc.

Nope unfortunately not, it will just mirror what your normal numpad does

 

you need one that is reprogrammable like the one logitech and razer sell

Razer is hella expensive.
