Apps close instantly?

Recently, for whatever reason, my camera app has been opening, and then about a second later closing. This was the only one doing it until today. Now the clock app is doing it and I have no idea what's doing it.

The phone is an HTC Android. I'm not sure which model it is because it was my mom's, but it's fairly new and it was expensive, if that says anything lol.

Backup your stuff, factory restore, reinstall your apps using account restore.
